The one with the summer essentials.

Summer Essential Products

Summer Essential Products Extra

I am excited to bring my latest video to you featuring my must-have products for summer. In my top ten, I have primers, a buttergel (which is a fun word to say),  lightweight lip products, and more. I hope you enjoy watching! : )

Also, this is the first video I have ever uploaded with a custom thumbnail (hooray for no more eyes-half-closed-mouth-agar stills ; ), I am excited to now be a part of the Pushpin TV Network. I am looking forward to creating better quality videos and building friendships with the other Pushpin channels, The Confessions of a Hairstylist, Likehearted, Popcorn Served Daily, Cardigan Empire, Lunch Pails & Lipstick, and Always Blushing

  1. I keep seeing that primer pop up places- I've never used one before, but considering the lack of makeup on my face when I get home from work at the end of the day I'm starting to consider it as a necessity.

    1. Hi, Christine! I think a primer or setting spray would really help the longevity of your makeup. : )

  2. I picked up the Benefit primer a few days ago. I've used it twice now (once with my Missha BB Cream and once with my Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer and Stila Powder Foundation) and both times I found that it made me get shinier faster and my makeup breakdown quicker and a lot more noticeably than if I hadn't used the primer. I have SUPER oily skin and had high hopes for this primer after hearing so many good reviews, but I think it's a huge miss for me. I'm going to give it a few more tries with a couple more foundations, but I think it's going back to ULTA. I've still never found a product (and I've tried countless) that helps control oil and prolong the wear of my foundation.

    1. Hi, Amy! The Benefit one definitely doesn't do much for my oil-control, but on me it makes my foundation stick around all day. Have you tried the No7 Beautifully Matte Make Up Base? I bought it this week at Target. I've only worn it once, but I didn't feel the need to blot as often that day. It's a much better price point than the Benefit too. : )

  3. Hi Ashley! Have you ever tried Paula's Choice tanning gel, too? It's amazing! Will blog about it soon. :) Great video. I like blow-dry gels, balms and spray, so I'd love to try that Kenra product. LOVE my Kenra hairspray.
