The one with the macarons.

When I first came across Tatiana's blog, Love Life Lace, I fell in love with all the color. I tend to play it safe with my clothes, so I appreciated the inspiration. When I read back through her archives, I was sad to see that I had missed her! She had lived super close to me before her and her husband relocated to California.

We started reading each others blogs and emailing, so I was ecstatic when she posted that she was moving back to the D.C. area.

Tatiana and I met up at Kafe Leopold, an Austrian cafe in Georgetown. The food was delicious, and for dessert she introduced me to my first ever macaron.

She is such a kind person and easy to talk to. So glad you are back on the east coast, Tatiana! :)

I decided I had to step up my color game, so I wore my new Ruche Summer Festival Striped dress. I'd like to say I was cool enough to manage heels on the cobblestones and bricks, but I switched out to flat sandals before I left.
