The one with June's favorites.

June Favorites

Revlon Lipglosses

Butter

  • Smashbox Limitless Eyeliner: I got this as a sample & almost threw it to the back of my drawer. I'm so glad I decided to give it a try - this is the only liner that will stay on my waterline for more than 1 minute.
  • Revlon Lipglosses (Pink Pop & Coral Reef): Gorgeous color payoff and the cost won't break the bank - win!
  • Butter  London (Teddy Girl & Rosie Lee): Butter London is quickly becoming my favorite polish brand. I love the names, quality, and packaging. They are also 3 free - no Formaldehyde, no Toluene, and no DBP.

Wily

Katie's

  • The Wild and Wily Ways of a Brunette Bombshell: Lovely girl. New York City. Powerful writing. You need to be reading Meg's blog!
  • Katie's Pencil Box: I first started reading Katie's blog after she was featured on Sometimes Sweet. The portrayal of her life through soft words and light-diffused photos makes it a must read.

My favorite photos this month were taken with my macro lens. I saw this flickr stream and was absolutely stunned. I really want to take a class so I can have a better understanding of macro photography.

What about you? Any favorites for the month of June? I'd love to hear them. :)

That is all.

PS: I'm currently doing a 5 Day Hair Challenge - 5 days, 5 different styles to get myself out of a rut. Check back Friday for a recap!

  1. I've been using a Bare Minerals eyeliner and I don't love it. Maybe I'll try Smashbox next time!

I love the idea of a five day hair challenge. We could all use a little more variety in our lives!

  2. I am excited to see the results of your hair challenge! Maybe you will spur me to action ;) I have to say, in June I am LOVING Game of Thrones. I just finished watching the first season on HBO, and I am just starting the books. I thought for sure I would hate this series because I am not one for fantasy. But, I found I love this series - such an intriguing story line.

  3. I haven't seen that nailpolish brand around my small town, I should go off in search of it though. I've been loving my tarte amazonian clay mascara. It makes my lashes look super long.

  11. Ooo, your five day hair challenge really does sound fun! ^_^

That nail polish does look lovely! My favorite is Avon mirror shine. I often wear it in Sprinkles!

As for June, I had ups and downs and I found many lovely new blogs to read and follow! (Beca - http://curiositiesandthelike.blogspot.com/), (Nikki - http://chroniclesofagingergirl.blogspot.com/) and (Jordan - http://www.trailergypsy.net/)

All new people I've started following have been added to my 101 in 1001 list, as I wanted to follow 34 new bloggers (technically, one a month. But there are so many, so I just made the limit 34!)

I only follow people I truly like and blogs I truly love, so all of the people I follow rock! ;)

  15. I love this post! Sometimes getting sample sizes of makeup is the best thing for new discoveries! I've never tried Butter London nail polish, but I really like that Rosie Lee color - so fun! My favorite new find this month is Benefit Cosmetic's new mascara, "They're Real!" I got is as a free sample with my last Sephora order, and it's amazing! I'm off to check out the two blogs you recommended, too!
