I especially love today's Friday Obsessions. You all know of my love for pretty nail polish, but the one unfortunate consequence of always having my nails painted is the state of my natural nails. All the chemicals in my go-to polishes have left my nails brittle and thin.
A few months ago my mom ordered from a brand called Zoya after hearing about it through YouTube. After researching what the brand was about I ordered some for myself. I didn't have the highest expectations (in my mind nothing could beat the quality of OPI for Sephora) so I quickly slapped on a red color and put on one of my own top coats.
To my surprise the polish lasted an entire 7 days with only some wearing on my thumbnail (!!) You can see the specific color I'm talking about in Wednesday's post where I am holding Domo.
Here is some info directly from the Zoya website...
Zoya Nail Polish has been awarded as the longest wearing natural nail polish by an independent panel in Women’s Health Magazine. Zoya Nail Polish is a nail polish free of toluene, formaldehyde, DBP (phthalates) and camphor. Nail Polish by Zoya offers over 300 gorgeous nail polish colors to choose from, plus 4 seasonalcollections of nail polish every year. Zoya Nail Polish was specifically formulated to deliver the longest wear possible on natural nails. Zoya Nail Polish can be found in better beauty salons, spas and online at www.zoya.com.
Great color selection, long-wearing, and kind to my nails...Can you see why I'm obsessed? :)
For those who asked what color I was wearing in the cherry blossom photos - Maura.
What's your favorite brand? Any other more natural polishes that I should try?
That is all.
That is all.
