The one with the white picket fence.

Easter Outfit
So I was all excited to share a new shop that opened up here in Virginia, but when I tweeted about it, you all told me that it was old news! Apparently, we are some of the last people to get a Francesca's Collections. Well old news or not, we (my friend, Dorothy, first told me about it) are excited to have an affordable alternative to Anthro in the area.

It was here that I finally found my Easter dress (are 24 year olds still allowed to get a special Easter outfit?). :)

The dress, sweater, and accessories are all from Francesca's Collections, and I had to get these shoes after I saw Danielle's Blowfish shoe post.

Easter was a wonderful, relaxing day. I made Martha Stewart's chocolate chip cupcakes & decorated them with picket fences and pansies.

Easter basket

Only one of the grandchildren is young enough for Easter egg hunts, but it was still fun to watch her poking around in the woods.

((And yes, my mom still makes me an Easter basket. Maybe I'll grow up next year.))

Did you have a nice weekend?

That is all.

  2. I love your outfit!! :)

And my mom still makes me and my brother easter baskets (and hides them so we have to hunt for them) and we're 16 and 24 ... some things I think are too fun to give up just because you got older ;-)

I didn't celebrate Easter: it feels pointless as I'm far away from home. Plus I was working every day.

Do you ever comment back to anyone? Aside from your blog clique that is? Just curious.

  45. @Anonymous so sorry if I have hurt your feelings in anyway. I read and comment on 201 blogs (if that is a clique, it's a large one!). I haven't been doing a great job of visiting new readers since I started my new job. I will definitely work on that. :)
