The one with the very fast flats.

Do you all remember these photos from my Ban.do post & Happy Marriage post? Well today you are going to see some behind the scene shots. ;)

I actually thought the pumps that I was wearing that day (UO Suede Pumps) were super comfortable, but after walking on loose cobblestones for over an hour, my feet were done.

Enter random Christmas gift from my MIL - Fast Flats (around $10 on Amazon). These are simply bendable, lightweight black flats that you can fold and slip into your bag. There is basically nothing to the shoe - no sturdy sole, so I wouldn't recommend wearing them around outside for long periods of time. But how many of you fashion bloggers, teetering around in your Jeffrey Cambell's, wouldn't love to kick them off after the pictures are taken & slip on something more comfortable for the walk home? They would also be great for a quick run into Target after work (your poor feet have been in heels all day - give them a break!) or going through airport security.

Ok, enough of that - on to the big news. I am so excited to announce the Shabby Apple winner!
Betsy
Last night, I seriously squealed when I counted the comments to find the winner. Betsy is one of the few bloggers I have had a chance to meet. From the photos she posts on her blog this dress is definitely her style!
Betsy, please email me your address, & we will get the dress sent over to you. :)

Thanks to everyone who entered and thanks to Shabby Apple for the generous gift.

Hope you all have wonderful weekends.

That is all.

  1. These are great. I've seen some like them at Neiman Marcus, but they were a bit on the expensive side. I'm guessing these are probably more reasonably priced! How nice to be able to keep them in your bag after a long day or night in heels! Congrats to Betsy on the Shabby Apple dress!

  9. I'm generally a flats wearer (I have terrible feet) but when I am in heels I LOVE these roll-up flats. You can even get them at Walgreens (here in Chicago at least) if you have some kind of emergency (which, let's face it, we all have had).

PS - as others have said, your blog is completely adorable.

  11. Oh I've seen those flats in the store and wondered about them - they look so cute! My feet absolutely hate heels, so I always have to have a comfy backup pair of shoes with me!
