I'm obsessed with this dress. It does wrinkle easily, but the lace detail is so delicate and pretty.

Has anyone else tried to the Sally Hansen Salon Effect stickers? So far I'm loving them. Curious how soon they will chip.

Ok, ok. Now onto the real news - giveaway announcement time!

Thanks so much to everyone who entered. I appreciated all the happy blog birthday wishes and learning more about you.

That is all.

  6. I have been wanting to try the nail stickers. I haven't had a chance. I'm chaperoning a middle school trip this weekend and will bring them on the overly long bus ride to put on. Are they hard to put on? Yay! Can't wait to try them!

My gold nails have started to wear off, but not to the point where they need to be re-done and I put them on about 2 weeks ago.

  16. Pretty dress -- the lace gives it a very romantic feel as does the soft purple color.

  25. I love your top! So unique. Was it easy to do the lace decals or did you find it a bit difficult? I'm interested in picking some up but don't want to waste the money.

  27. Hi Ashley... I came across your blog when I did a search for that dress from Ruche. I'm thinking about buying it for a wedding next Saturday. I'm just wondering, is the dress too sheer or low cut to wear without a slip? It was great to see it on someone since Ruche doesn't have pictures of anyone modeling it. I'm running out of time to order a dress online, so hopefully you can let me know what you think!

    Thanks,
    Anna

  28. Hi, Anna!

Sorry I'm just now responding - I had comment moderation turned on for older posts, so I just saw your comment.

It is a super thin dress (hence the wrinkling I mentioned), so I felt it needed a slip. As to how low-cut it is...I'm a little more conservative than most. While it's not inappropriately low, I thought with all the sheer lace it might come across more "nightie" than dress without a slip.

All-in-all, I love the dress! Hope this helps somewhat. :)

    Thanks for visiting!

  29. Thanks Ashley :)

I happened to stop into forever 21 over the weekend and found a surprisingly cute maxi dress and cropped denim jacket, so I'll be wearing that with purple Litas :) They're the first things I've bought there since 6th grade, and I'm in college now! So thanks anyway. I'm just glad I know about Ruche now. And you sold me on those nail effects. I definitely need to find somewhere that sells them before I head to that wedding!
